Find Courage

A quiet prayer of the heart.

When life throws challenges your way — don’t be afraid and fold,
Remain the highest version of yourSelf, as everybody else is taken.
Most here are old structures to uphold,
But I now, finally, admit that I came here to break them.

Once and for all, forget the words “I should”;
It’ll try, but don’t let life to throw you from the saddle.
If I could sell my soul to devil — I admit I would,
But life insisted I was here to serve and wouldn’t let me settle.

Not fit for the predetermined moldings from the start,
To walk this path, I prayed to find the courage needed.
All answers were already in my heart,
But, by my frantic mind they would get, often, overlooked instead of duly being heeded.

To be the smaller version of myself, no longer can pretend,
What’s false now swiftly serves as an alarming trigger.
To my deep wounding it took years of my life to tend,
But now I’m back with a renewed sense of hope, humility, and vigor.

For years, patiently held out on sidelines,
But time has come out of the spirit closet to come out.
However many there are on your face of joy and agony deep wrinkles and fine lines,
To claim your true life back, you’re always welcome and, wholeheartedly, allowed.

Come closer, let me tell you how it’s gonna go:
Officially extending heartfelt welcome to your very own Heroine’s Journey.
In stars it has been written long ago,
That you were meant to be truth-dweller in this lifetime, not a phony.

However many painful tries to get it right it takes,
Keep your head high — don’t quit when you get tired.
I pray that in this lifetime you find out what it takes,
To bring to life all that your heart truly desires.

Have been so many places, yet it was my soul,
That undertook the most breathtaking travels.
On the other end of suffering lies, to awaken, of you heart exhilarated call;
It beckons you to merge with lasting peace that dwells on the reality’s slightly upgraded level.

All strife behind the veil is, most lovingly, contrived;
Beyond it lies the treasure of the heart, if only one can dare to unearth it.
If all your aims hit target only on the millionth of tries,
Believe me, all the pain was then well worth it.

When nothing’s working, fall down on your knees,
And say a heartfelt prayer.
Trust that, with much persistence, by grace gets revealed —
Of life’s magnificence a whole another layer.

One day you’ll find — delusion lifts,
You finally get back your pure childlike vision.
By divine right will be returned to you all of your birthright gifts,
When you give up all profit-seeking, enemies, division and derision.

With love oppose destructive destiny of wrath.
Take sacred vow to not perceive an enemy in the eyes of fellow brothers.
What value does our existence really have,
If it’s not focused on alleviating suffering of others?

Have strength to only by example teach,
Never stop grueling work of softening into becoming kinder.
No easy feat it is to true win-win perspective reach,
Of which Utopia serves as the most eloquent reminder.

Treat every day as if it was a work of precious art,
Each judgment freedom of your soul in the mine field of the mind ensnares.
Your mere commitment to go after calling of your own heart,
Serves others as a brave reminder of the possibility to follow theirs.

Conclusively decide if you wish in mass dream or mass awakening partake,
Forgive those still asleep for it is their unprocessed pain that leads to a shrewd display of any crudeness.
Don’t let grief and despair overtake,
Sheer brilliance of your inherent goodness.

Don’t live a life that’s spent in vain,
Fight to perform your soulful duty.
I don’t deny — there’s lots of pain,
But look around — there is, also, so much beauty.

When was last time with sun you rose at dawn,
Or gotten lost in starry night’s palatial clouds?
Most precious of your resources — attention — to the things you think you must condemn relentlessly is being drawn,
Sucked in by, of mass consciousness, fully unconscious crowds.

They say fear or love’s our only choice,
Unlimited supply of chance construct of time is fiercely trimming.
By listening to the faulty selves of others you will never find your truest inner voice,
And miss a chance to fully live this life only veneer of which we are still lightly skimming.

Have faith to fully let all go without finding what you seek,
Any shortcut leads to a road that’s longest.
Discover blatant truth that those by world perceived as weak,
Quite often tend to be the strongest.

Wake up and pray for a lion’s heart,
Even if now it’s only just as big as a tiny kitten.
By brutal process of this raw divine correction from the very start,
I always have, as well as will continue to be smitten.

To love — fine tune the tender wires of your gentle soul,
Let go of every last bit of undue resistance.
Until the whole world functions as one whole,
Strife will continue to transfix our still, largely, meaningless existence.

I have been called a strong woman more times than I care to admit. Not sure when, along the way, I became strong. Or a woman for that matter.
